Privacy Policy

Effective August 24, 2026

This is the plain version of what happens to your information when you use magicalleisure.com, sign up for a free guide, or buy something from me. I am one person running a small business, not a company with a data department, and I have kept this as short as I can while still telling you everything that actually matters.

Magical Leisure is operated by Daniella Riche. In this policy, "I" and "me" mean Magical Leisure, and "you" means anyone visiting the site or joining the email list.

What I collect

Information you give me

• Your first name and email address, when you fill in a form to get a free guide or join the email list.
• Anything you write to me. If you reply to an email or send me a message, I have whatever you chose to tell me.
• Your purchase details, if you buy something. I see your name, email, and what you bought.

Information collected automatically

• Basic visit data such as pages viewed, the general area you visited from, your device type, and which link brought you here.
• Cookies and tracking pixels. This site uses the Meta pixel, which records when you view a page or fill in a form and reports that back to Meta. Meta may use that information to show you ads and to build audiences. There is more about turning this off further down.

What I use it for

• To send you the free guide you asked for.
• To send you emails about Disney planning for larger families, and about things I sell. You can stop these at any time with the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every one.
• To deliver what you bought and answer questions about it.
• To work out which pages and posts are useful and which are not.
• To run ads, and to avoid showing ads to people who have already bought.

I do not sell your information. I do not rent it, trade it, or hand your email list over to anyone else to market to.

Who else touches your information

I use ordinary tools to run this business, and your information passes through them. Each has its own privacy policy.

• Kit (formerly ConvertKit) stores the email list and sends the emails.
• ThriveCart and Stripe process payments and handle receipts.
• Netlify hosts this website.
• Meta receives pixel data and runs the ads.
• Google hosts the files delivered to buyers, and provides fonts and analytics.
• ManyChat handles automatic replies if you comment on an Instagram post to request a guide.

The only other time I would share anything is if the law required it.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe using the link in any email. It works immediately and I will not email you again.
• Ask me to delete you. Email me and I will remove your record from the email list and confirm it is done. Purchase and tax records have to be kept, so those stay.
• Ask me what I hold on you. Same address, and I will tell you.
• Turn off ad tracking in your Meta account settings, in your browser's cookie settings, or with a tracking blocker. None of it affects your ability to use this site.

If you live in California, the EU, or the UK, you have specific legal rights over your personal information, including the right to access it, correct it, delete it, and object to it being used for marketing. I honor all of those for everyone regardless of where they live. Just email me.

How long I keep it

Email list records stay until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete them. Purchase records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Website analytics are kept in aggregate and are not tied back to you by name.

Security

The site runs over an encrypted connection, and the tools listed above are established services with their own security measures. That said, nothing sent over the internet is ever completely secure, and I cannot promise otherwise.

Children

This site is meant for adults planning family trips. It is not directed at children, and I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given me their information, email me and I will delete it.

Other websites

Some links here go to other sites, including Disney's own site and resort booking pages. Once you leave, this policy no longer applies and theirs does.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, I will update the date at the top and, for anything significant, tell the email list.
